Fall Family Photos | Champoeg Park St. Paul, Oregon
If there is one thing that can lessen the blow of summer coming to an end, it’s the promise of that crisp fall air, pumpkin spice everything, and the leaves changing to those beautiful oranges, reds and yellows we are so lucky to see every year here in the Pacific Northwest! I absolutely love fall and everything that comes with it - especially all the families booking fall photo sessions with those adorable and cozy sweaters, boots, scarves and hats.
There are many beautiful locations in the Portland, Oregon area to take fall family photos, and one of my absolute favorites is Champoeg Park in St. Paul, Oregon. There are so many different options to choose from when it comes to where to take your photos at this park. From open grassy fields to a rustic, old barn as a backdrop, this is the perfect location for fall family photos. Can’t decide between the barn or open fields? No problem! Depending on the package you book, we will have enough time to take photos in both locations - it’s just a short drive (less than two minutes) to get a scenery change.
This sweet family (also very close family friends of mine!) really wanted the barn as the backdrop to their photos. They also brought their adorable dog Cash along (something that is always ok and even encouraged when you book a session with me! This beautiful mama did a great job choosing outfits for her family that were neutral (something I highly suggest for fall family photos), complemented each other, and fit the season (boots, sweaters, long sleeve dresses). It was the perfect day for fall family photos at Champoeg Park, and I think we all enjoyed walking around taking in the views and that crisp fall air that I love so much.
